About Me

I've loved photography for as long as I can remember. It grabs me with more intensity than any other medium. I first learned the art of classic black and white film photography and darkroom development when I was in high school. I was the only young person in my class at the community art center, and the only female. I was definitely nervous at first, then soon realized that none of that mattered. Photography transcends all boundaries; geographical, societal, gender, age and race. It transcends time itself.

I continued on to study the arts in college, majoring in Fine Art with my emphasis on photography, painting and ceramics. I have spent my entire adult life capturing images that are near and dear to me. Now that snapping a photo is right at our fingertips at any given moment, I strive to take time out to really take the pictures that mean something to ME. Of course, I love being able to grab my phone and document everyday life, but it's still important to me that I capture my family and friends at pivotal moments in their journey, in the most beautiful way that I can.

I spend my days with my amazing husband and three beautiful children, here in northern Georgia. They inspire everything I do and I try everyday to write a beautiful story for us, filled with laughter, love, bravery and more than a few wild and crazy shenanigans!

Now, I am so excited to share my passion for storytelling through photography with all of you. Whether it's a newborn baby, so precious and innocent, a high school senior about to close one chapter and begin a new one, a family that desires to save a snapshot of their family exactly as it is now, or the joining of two hearts as they embark on a life together. I can't wait for the opportunity to help you save those treasured memories forever. A moment in time, never forgotten.
